The past few months have been unexpectedly challenging for many families in California and across the United States. With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing many business shutdowns, layoffs and furloughs have worsened the food insecurity situation for many. For years, Subaru of America has striven to use its large platform to be more than just a car manufacturer. And through the Subaru Love Promise, the automaker continues its commitment to supporting the local communities in which it operates. Now, Subaru is again demonstrating its commitment to corporate responsibility with its Subaru Loves to Help initiative.

The new program sees Subaru of America and its retailers committing to the donation of 50 million meals to Feeding America to help increase food availability at 199 local food banks throughout the United States. At Marin Subaru, we see community involvement as a crucial pillar of our business. Therefore, we are more than proud to join with Subaru in their Feeding America initiative by donating 69,090 meals to San Francisco-area food banks to help get meals to people in communities like San Rafael, Petaluma, Oakland, and Novato.
